Does anyone have subtitles working in Blu-Ray? I've got Pan's Labyrinth and my Spanish is weak. I've been demuxing with eac3to via wine and muxing with tsmuxer.

Hahaha

I've had nothing but endless pain and suffering when trying to work with BluRay subtitles.

SUPRead supposedly works, but it always crashes on me.

Your best bet is to find subs online (SRT).

@Blue_MiSfit: Ah, but isn't that illegal, thefore Rule 6? Not trying to attack you, just pissed off at the movie industry... not saying _I_ care that it's illegal, either... still.

I agree that Blu-ray subs are PAINFUL to deal with. The OCR software for creating text subs has sucked for some time now, and it's really apparent here. I usually use SUPread to get text vaguely like the movie, and then manually edit line-by-line to remove the numerous mistakes it makes.

As for playing the subs that come on the disc, I haven't really tried all that much... MPC-HC on Winblows worked, I think. _Maybe_ you could get that working in Wine. Good luck.

I'd rather learn Spanish! :)

Really? I wouldn't consider downloading subs for a movie you own illegal..

Maybe it is, hard to say. I'm sure if it is a mod will let us know :)

It's a really f***ed up system... groups like the MPAA would have you believe that their is no such thing as Fair Use, and that even making a private backup or converting for a portable player is illegal. However, they don't usually go after that... subtitle makers and distributors have been attacked, though. Again. F***ed up
