Hi,
I'm having problems with Gordian Knot. It won't save any avs files. It will open DVD2avi projects, crop, and resize. But it won't save the avs file for me, it justs hangs there. Task manager DOESN'T report the program is "not responding" at all. It just sit's there hung up. I have the newest version of GKnot (full installer package), and the older version also. Both of them freeze at the same point. I have used GKnot several times flawlessly in the past on the same system. It just stopped performing properly one day!

I am however still able to frameserve with my system's configuration. I went in and manually created an avs file and frameserver still works fine. This has been my resort since Gknot has gone corrupt.

Any Ideas of what the problem may be?
thanks in advance!

Hi-

I hope JayTray got his problem solved by now, since it's been over a year. As for you Paul, did you install GKnot 0.27, and did you install both the RipPack and the SystemPack?

So, when you go File-Save And Encode above the .d2v picture, can you run the Preview? Can you hit Edit and see the .avs? And it hangs if you hit either Save or Save And Encode?

Maybe reinstall the whole thing. Go to the Options Tab and Delete Registry Entries. Then Delete the GKnot folder and start over.
