Hi, im hoping someboyd/anybody can help me this really annoying problem.

When i author dvds with DVDLab Pro 1.53 and then position the subtitles to my liking using DVDSubedit, some of the subtitles refuse to show up on the final completed dvd when viewing on tv. Its always the same subs that dont show up aswell, after i've changed little things like "line lenth" or , time of display. It makes no difference.

There are just some subs that dont show up! and occasionally i get a subtitle that will flash up on screen and be gone in the blink of an eye.

Anyone know why this happens? :(

There is nothing wrong or different with the subtitle lines that aren't showing up compared to the ones that are showing up.

Its very annoying because everything else about my authored dvd is perfect.

Why no show?

As many respnses as possible are welcome. :)

Hey, this is a very annoying problem indeed. I met with this very often after authorizing DVDs with ReJig and IfoEdit. I haven't found any real explanation. It has to be a bug in the code. I'm sure ReJig's and IfoEdit's multiplexing engine is the same, perhaps DVDlab's based on the same code too.

My workaround was to use muxman instead. I know it won't help you too much, as it won't replace DVDlab. I would probably take your authorized DVD and replace your movie VOBs with DVDRemake from a muxman-authorized DVD.

I hope someone has a better idea.
