Burning cue/bin problem?

I know people have had different issues with this, and I have read a bunch of them, so hopefully I am not asking the same question twice.

I can burn the cue/bin files I create with the latest version of DVDtoSVCD using fireburner. Well, I could... (past tense) Anyway suffice it to say, I can no longer burn with that and any other program I try gives me a error loading the cue files. Like NERO. I have the latest version and it says something like "error loading cue sheet in line 1" CDR win gives me a similair error in line 33. I am not sure why they can't open the cue file. Any ideas? Is there something I am doing wrong in DVDtoSVCD?

What version of DVD2SVCD are you using?

I just finished an encode and tested all three of my .CUE files in CDRWIN and they all loaded with no issues.

Let's compare my settings to yours and see what, if anything, is different.
I used 1 audio stream
I did not use subtitles
I used VCDXBuild to make my .CUE files.
I used fixed chapters 90 seconds and not DVD chapters
I did not check Entrysvcd in the build tab
I did not check use change cd picture on all cd's in the build tab
I did not check Use selections in the build tab
I did not check Use MPEGAV instead of MPEG2 in the build tab

Is anything different in your settings? Especially the last 6.
If it is on the last 6 try changing your settings to match mine and use crash recovery from Muxing and Cutting and see if those load fine. If it does please report back so we can log this with DVD2SVCD.

I had the same problem with the last version of DVD2SVD( 1.06 build 1). When I looked into the cue files (it's only a plain text file), I noticed that the .bin file it is referring to was wrong. The .bin files were on the G: drive but within the .bin it was stated on the H: drive.

Just open your .cue file and look if the bin file is specified correctly. If not, change and try again.

I read the reply last night by Markrb. I started checking out my settings. Planned on replying this morning. Got on saw the reply by Emakaay. Gave that a try and viola! It worked.

So I wanted to say thanks to both of you for your help. Instead of going bald, I just got a haircut with the amount I pulled out.

glad to see that you didn't lose all your hair :D . I want to set one thing straight. The problem I mentioned was NOT in DVD2SVCD as I mentioned before. I have 2 OS installed on my system, which have different number of drives.

I use w2k to encode movies. I thinks it is more stable then Win XP. This system has the H: drive. I burned the images using my Win XP OS which doesn't have the H: drive.

So it wasn't a DVD2SVCD like I said before. Just my stupid mistake. I hope nobody saw this( especially DVD2SVCD). He has put so much effort in this program to let this bug slip by ;)

absolutely. I didn't take it like that. I fgured it was something unique to my machine. I have the same thing, Dual boot.

I can see why you wouldn't want DVD2SVCD to see that and think wrong though.
