Really sounds like a hardware problem. CCE tends to show hardware
problems better than allot of other programs, because it is so demanding on the CPU and Memory.

I am thinking hard of some tests you can do.

Go and download a program called GoldMemory v5.07 - PC Memory Diagnostic Tests.
You can get it here www.goldmemory.cz
It is a DOS based memory tester and a good one. It is shareware. You will need a diskette and be able to boot off of it.
If you get even 1 red error you have a problem. Your memory should pass all the way through. It will take a good half hour at least to complete.
If you get an error and are overclocking back the system down a little and retest until you pass 100%.
This is a great program for overclockers to test to make sure their CPU and memory can take the speed.

If you pass that 100% get a copy of BurnIn test. You can find that on downloads.com or shareware.com or tucows.com. Run all the tests minus floppy, cd, at 100% until done. If that passes and you still are having the same problem give another shout here.

Just a couple more things. You do have power management shut off in Windows right? You don't have a screensaver running? You system isn't set up to hybernate is it?

What OS are you running?

Try these things and see what they say. If it's ok with all that we can try a couple of more things.
