Hi guys, I am having some problems in converting x264 video files for my Playstation 3. I have tried several different pieces of software (TsMuxer, mts2vob, etc.) and I seem to be having problems coverting certain files. most of them are 720p.HDDVD.DTS.x264-ESiR.mkv.
Stats on the file: 720p.HDDVD.DTS.x264
Stream 0
Codec: avc1
English
1280x544
FR 23.976
Stream1 codec: DTS
English
Channels 6
Smaple rate 48kHz
Media info:
the mkv - Matroska 6.5 GB 1h 58mn
1 video stream: AVC 1 audio stream DTS
Writing application mkvmerge Writing Library: libeml + libmatroska
First video stream: Eng 6 840Kbps 1280*544 @ 23.97fps, AVC (container profile=unknown@5.1)(High@L)
First audio stream: Eng 768Kbps 48kHz 6 channels DTS
The mpg that wont play after conversion - BFAV 6.83GB 1h 58mn
1 video stream: AVC
1 audio stream AC-3
First video stream: 7 287Kbps 1280*544 @ 23.976fps AVC (High@L4.1) (CABC/8 Ref frames)
First video stream: 640Kbps, 48 kHz, 6 channel, AC-3
I also tried using tsmuxer to an /m2s and still doesnt play anything in VLC. the stats are the same as the mpg i made except the audio is still in DTS.
So basically, The .mkv plays in VLC, after ANY type of conversion, the slider just moves along with no playback whatsoever, no video or audio, and the time is 00:00 the whole way across. it only takes about 30 seconds for the "blank" file to play the supposed 2 hour movie. am I doing something wrong? is there a way to get this to work? nay help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
