Kudo's to DVD2SVCD!!:p
Just finished my first DVD2SVCD rip, Allman Brothers Band - Brother's of the Road. I read all thru this forum, and the advanced DVD2SVCD forum, downloaded the latest build_1-Pre_7, and went to work yesterday. 29 hours later, I had a wonderful 2CD SVCD, chapters worked, audio was in synch, and quality was excellant, considering the source was not that great.
Some specs for youse all:
1.2Gz Thunderbird, 712MB RAM
CPU use 98% most of that 29 hours
3-pass VBR
Just in case you were interested.
I've ripped quite a few DivX, and I have to say it's a frustrating experience at best. This is a great bundle, and I felt compelled to post this as an expression of graditude to DVD2SVCD for a job well done!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
