do this company make good memory for cpu 920 I7 INTEL ?
INTEL write :

DDR3 Ram Advisory: It has been reported in various sources online, that the Core i7 CPU can be damaged by DDR3 Ram that operates at higher than 1.65v

Yeah a-data isn't bad. Just make sure you get it from a good retailer. If you have problems with the RAM, dealing with an RMA through the company could be painful.

That's why I'm trying to buy mostly OCZ memory now, since their offices are just down the street from where I work, and they're very cool about doing will-call RMAs ;)

To answer your other question, I doubt A-DATA is doing anything special with their 1.75-1.85v memory.

The Core i7 as you stated. has an Intel Recommended maximum voltage of 1.65v. Will it run memory at 1.85v, sure. Is it 100% safe, who knows. Once you get above 1.65v, you likely risk damaging and/or shorting the life of the CPU. If it gets fried, you have no one to blame but yourself.

There is no way to know for sure until more people are brave enough to run their memory at such high voltages for a year or more without killing their CPU to find out how much of a risk it is. If you are the type of person that builds a computer once every 1-2 years, I wouldn't worry about it and overclock away. If you only build a computer every 3-5+ years I would avoid anything but minor overvolts on the memory (like 1.70v) until everybody has a better idea of the situation.

Yeah, the Core i7 overclocking situation is kind of silly ATM. Unless you go all-out for the big-bad extreme CPU, you're really limited.

I'm sure this will change soon :)
