Anyone have any idea why I would get a IO Error 103 when trying to Rip Snow White and the Seven Dwarves using DVD2SVCD 1.06 B7 -- Internal Routines.

I am about to try Smartripper here but am new to all of this and just curious why it would say this or what I should do to resolve the problem. -- thanks!!

Try the new version. You got a pre-release, and such versions are sometimes buggy.

this error means that your DVD has some damaged blocks, maybe because of manufacturing errors or scratchs. Try DVDDecrypter, because it may skip such errors, and after this use "internal routines" to rerip from the ripped files.

Well, Mozart, that was a pretty little tune, and VERY handy: the most useful help I've seen & applied so far since my initial euphoria on finding the little orange software DVD2SVCD.
The media I saw this particular error on was a homemade disc made on my standalone Pioneer DVR7000 from a TV programme.
I can't find any other help but this one was USEFUL. Many thanks, please keep replying.. and I'll now do a search for all your mails!
