I do realize this is not a widly released build of DVD2SVCD but a pre-release build if you will. I've been using it for the last 3 days fine and all of a sudden its started to act flaky. What happens is it will rip the DVD VOB's and then just lock before proceeding to DVD2AVI. If I look in my Event Log I have the following message aswell.

Hanging application DVD2SVCD.exe, version 1.0.6.7, hang module DVD2SVCD.exe, version 1.0.6.7, hang address 0x0000690c.

Now if I restart it -- load the VOB manually it continues just fine and finishes. Note it was working fine prior to this and nothing has been installed/changed on my system - rebooting has not resolved it aswell.

Tried this on several DVD's and getting the same problem (How the Grinch Stole Xmas, Mummy, Planet of the Apes, etc...)

Windows XP (All Updates)
DVD2SVCD 1.0.6 Build 7

Just curious if anyone is having this problem aswell and kudos to DVD2SVCD for all of the hard work -- its appreciated.

Sorry to here about that, umm is there a reason you havent updated your version of dvd2svcd to the latest build? I would try that see if your problem goes away then repost.

Probley due to the fact I was not aware of there being a newer build than 7 at this point but goes to show you what I know -- this is all somewhat new to me.

What's the best place to get the latest build -- I see its not directly available on DVD2SVCD's website as I was only able to find build 7 through a thread on here. Thanks for the heads up.

If you don't see it when you go to the DVD2SVCD homepage it could be because you are looking at a cached page. Try reloading the page when you get there. The build 1 release has been there for a few days now.
