For some reason .wmv files played back in MPC have started messing up on me recently. It will show two of the video, one on top of the other, instead of just one. I've tried version 6490 and 6491 and it happens on both. So far this is the only video type that I've encountered this problem on. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it? I hate using WMP.

Are these the SAME WMV files that have previously played properly under MPC, or previously unplayed (newer?) .WMV files?
1) If previously unplayed, what software and procedures did you use to create them? Is this different than what was done to create previously played WMV files?
2) Do they play properly under a different player?

Yes these are all files that used to play properly using MPC. They all still play properly using WMP. I have no idea what changed to mess it up or why. Attached is what it looks like when I play any .wmv file in MPC.

I've tried version 6490 and 6491 and it happens on both.Does MPC require "formal" de-installing? If so, and if you haven't done so, you've probably left vestiges of an inadvertent change to MPC on your system. If de-installing MPC and then re-installing it doesn't fix things, you might try performing a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly...
