If this is the wrong forum my apologies... Just let me know which one it should be in.. and I'll post there...

I have several M2TS files that are 1920x1080 at 25mbps that have 4 audio tracks in them. DD5.1 English, 5.1 French, Stereo Spanish, Commentary.

What I want to create is a HD MPG2 file with DD5.1 English Audio.

Why do I want to create this? So I can play it on my TiVo S3/HD unit, & store the file for future use on my 18tb NAS.

The TiVo S3/HD unit is capable of playin the M2TS/H.264 file if I rename the file with a .MP4 extension. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with that & that would be just fine.

HOWEVER.... If I rename it... on SOME of the files the audio that will be played is the Stereo spanish, on others it plays the 5.1 French, and yet on other "Renames" it will play the commentary track.

Therefore I need some way of converting the M2TS files yet maintain full 1920x1080 video and be able to CHOOSE which audio track to encode into the HD-MPG2 file.

I have tried all the latest versions of the following programs with no luck.

Adobe Premier, Vegas Studio, Roxio, Corel VideoStudio, Nero 9, Pinnacle.

I am also open to converting (?) the M2TS file to MP4/H.264 file as well. If I am able to choose the DD5.1 track as well as maintain full 1920x1080 25mpbs video.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Gary
