In some random crazyness i buy japenese DvDs without subtitles and therefor i take fansubs mostly *.ssa or *.ass files.

Now is my question is any free Player for an x64 OS out there which plays this subs with my dvd and allows jumping in the video to different positions without getting unsync between the subs and the video?

At the moment i use some kind of workaround, i rip the DvD to my hdd and play it with mplayerc(6.4.9.0) the problem is:

1. it gets unsync through jumping to different video positions, so you have to watch the video always from the beginning

2. i cant play the DvD itself cause i got some strange flickering in the subtitles if i do so, thats why i have to rip it on my hdd.

I have also tryed MplayerC patched(6.4.9.1) as well as MplayerC HomeCinema(1.1.890.0) the good thing is they play the dvd without flickering subs and it seems not to get out of sync through video position jumping. BUT it gets out auf sync after some playtime like the audio effect if you have an 25fps movie with 23,976 fps sound.
