I ripped the Matrix HD-DVD (which I own) to my hard-drive using DVDFab HD, now I want to watch it. It seems that my usual players, VLC and MPC with ffdshow don't support the video/audio codecs. What can I use to play it (other than the obvious PowerDVD or WinDVD)?
Thanks

Use eac3to to mux the audio and video into a mkv.

The newest versions of FFDShow and MPC-HC do support the HD DVD file types. I know, as I have used them. Just drag and drop the files onto the latest MPC-HC, with the audio codecs enabled in FFDShow, and you will be good to go.
