Hey I decrypted one of the blu-ray movies I own with anydvd and I tried to play it in media player classic. It's obviously playing the PCM audio, and it won't play over SPDIF. It makes very loud pops and hisses, but that's another issue. I'd rather just choose to play the AC3 stream. For some reason though, the audio in MPC is grayed out. Anyway to just choose the audio stream I want to play?

Thanks
Tim

Try going through the "Navigate" -> "Audio" menu.

Thanks. So I demuxed the audio streams, and apparently the issue was that it was a TrueHD audio format, which I haven't run into before. Is there a way to play that over SPDIF?

Not without reencoding (unless it contains an AC3 track).

Yeah it says it is AC3, but the file size is 1.79 GB so it is much larger than a typical AC3 file, so with that information, is there a way to pass it to SPDIF?
