I have a question about the Smart Anamorphic Feature from meguis AVSScriptCreator.
How does it work ?
Usually (on PAl DVD Sources) i make my Crop/Resize ,8,72,8,78=704x432 for example,and the i set x263 to --sar 16:11 to encode it anamorphic.
I mean how does Smart Anamorphic Feature work?
# Set DAR in encoder to 12:5. The following line is for automatic signalling
global MeGUI_darx = xx
global MeGUI_dary = xx
What means "auto signalling" ?
And should/must i set x264 to --sar xx 12:5 furthermore ? I think no because the global MeGUI_darx/y Values set the anamorphic Flag autom to the container,correct ?
And in mkvmerge ? Do i have to set the Display Width height Value manually ?
I hope you can help me to understand this feature better
