Bluray playback issues

Hi,

I'm trying to play a bluray movie (from a file) on my 2gb core2duo, ati 3850 based pc, but playback is stuttery and laggy and the movie is basically unwatchable.
I have ffdshow and coreavc installed but I don't really know what to do to make it play better....

Is this just a compatibility issue ? All other movies (i.e. non bluray seem to be ok)

Does your original BluRay disc play properly on the same system?

hi there's no disk this is purely a file based bluray mkv file.

Have you actually read rule 6? Considering all of your questions here have been about playing your AVI files, most about putting them on DVD, there's no doubt in my mind that you did not create them, or if you did it was from source material that you don't own.
