hi, i have .ts(45mins, 7.8gigs) that i want to cut out unwanted parts at the start and end.
first of all i don't know what tools is best for this and just tried HDTVtoMPEG.
it looked like worked as i wanted. i cutted out only 2.5mins but the output was reduced by 1.8gig.
is it normal behavior? i played the resulted .ts and it seemed fine. video and audio are all there and aren't missing.
then what are those ~1.8gigs in the original file?
in HDTVtoMPEG, only one channel and two PIDs (video/audio) are listed and i selected them all.
so there was no choice for me to exclude something more than just cutting.
how can i double-check and be sure to be this is safe?
