Hi! Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting pernament Japanese subtitles to work with DVD2SVCD? While some DVD's work like a charm, others just die on me.
To clarify, I can finish the ripping process of the DVD to my harddrive. DVD2SVCD then proceeds to extract the subtitles. Quite often during this process DVD2SVCD seems to hang on me and crashes. Sometimes I can't extract any of the subtitles. Other times it seems to be able to extract many of them before coming to one it can't handle.
This is not a one time ordeal, but has now occured with many titles including... The Goonies, Braveheart, Amadeus, the Usual Suspects. Rougly about 50% of the titles I have tried.
I have tried using the Internal ripping process, VStrip, and Smartripper and none of them seem to have any affect on the process.
This problem been going on through out all the 1.05 builds and still occurs in the new 1.06 version of DVD2SVCD.
While I don't need the subtitles all of my Japanese friends will be saying "Zen zen wakarinai" without them!
