Hello,
I'm attempting to convert 8 low bitrate (~1,000 kb/s) AVI files into VOB, and fit them on a single 4 gig DVD. Each AVI is around 200 meg.
I'm using DVD2SVCD's AVI2DVD function with CCE.
For some reason, no matter what I set the bitrate & cd size to, I am inevitably getting files ~1.3 gig.
Why, with such a low bitrate, are the avi files being converted into such huge VOB files, even when I set the bitrates to settings that generally coincide with these: min bitrate as 700, max as 1400, and average at 1300. I figured changing the disc size to 700 meg would at least give me some decrease in vob size, but it doesn't.
I'm basically converting each vob separately, then authoring them together with TMPEG software.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
