I wanna start to convert som vhs tapes to dvd or BD... but what kind of hardware do I need and where can I get it. ?

Neuron2 is referring to the fact that 'Hardware' doesn't explain anything about what you are inquiring about. By having a more suitable title, you will get more people who can answer your question, and it means that people who don't know won't waste their time checking it out - which is pointless because they cannot help you.
People have to be a little careful how they word things as well, as 'best' is a term that isn't allowed (quite fairly), and any personal recommendations are just peoples preferences, and may not represent the solution most tailored to your exact needs :)

okey. Since I have moved to blu-ray I have clean out all my vhs tapes but there is some clips and homemovies I love to have on some kind of disc. But DVD-RW..... hmmm

:) That's actually quite funny, and I'm sure with five posts in six years the 30 day vacation will go unnoticed.
I use my WIN TV capture card (it has the appropriate RCA jacks included) to transfer my movies over to dvd; it's not necessarily the most efficient but it works well enough for me.
