I need to audioserve from SVCD at same time as frameserve

Hi. I need to be able to playback audio from an SVCD or whatever using a .avs system. I know you can playback a .avs file in media player as long as you have the right filters installed. But I get no audio. This is fine if you are just encoding but I need to be able to playback the .avs and have audio playback at the same time. Is there any method to do this without extracting the audio from the source?
