TheWEF, Doom9,
You wish to disrespect me and take down my threads? You fucked with the wrong bull this time. I'm making it now my personal quest to forward this URL, along with the below headers to every copywrited agency I can think of for producing Illegal software.
Block my IP #, I have "MANY" proxy servers I can use and will. You disrespect me, I now disrespect you...

please pm me if you have any comments. ;)
wef.
Fair enough, I was just trying to point out that divx_encode was over reacting. By reading the other posts it appears he has.

Know the difference between a "flamewar" and an intelligent viewpoint, which was first made in respect, no name calling, no profanity. Believe me I know the difference and understand how to respect etiquette on forums, that is until someone crosses the line.
I was totally disrespected, so now I shall do what I have to do, which will include alerting every British government agency, short of Buckingham Palace. I have plenty of time and skillz to utilize, and until I receive a public apology by TheWEF and Doom9, be prepared to start experiencing total investigation for the distribution of Illegal software for copyright purposes.

Mr. Divx_encode - Even if you did send 'information' to whatever
British agencies you wished, and they did what you wanted by taking
down this site, you'd be shooting yourself in the foot.
Not only would you lose out on a site with a wealth of DivX
information - but what's to say they won't investigate YOU? And
perhaps look up YOUR ISP records?
btw, anyone can get the private information that you posted about
Doom9. It's not hard.

Hi Prizm,
I use multiple proxy chains and also I'm not in violation by visiting any site, I'm not the one running it :D
I'd rather shoot myself in the foot to prove a point then just sit back and let people disrespect me, especially when my case is/was valid ;)
All it takes is respect for your fellow participant. I wasn't the one who dismissed anyone's valid question. Maybe when TheWEF and Doom9 open up their next site, they'll think about this respect issue more :p

Well, I know how you feel about posts being silenced. I've posted
questions in other forums that were in the 'grey area' as to whether
they applied to that particular forum or not, and had my posts
deleted/silenced/whatever.
It annoyed me, yes, but my question being answered was more
important to me than blasting the admin. These guys make the rules,
so sometimes you just gotta go with the flow to make things easier
for everybody, including you.
Stick around, dude, I'm sure you can help people out with their
questions :)

Strange, I have yet to find illegal software on Doom9's site.
Your "you stepped on me.... Now I'm gonna kill you" kind of attitude is far from what I'd call intelligent. But I know the feeling, however I have so far constrained myself (somewhat), and I have yet to resolve to what I'd call a somewhat childish revenge.
Not only that, but let us for argument sake say that you do succeed in shutting down Doom9's site, I for one will give you the full blame and not TheWEF nor Doom9. I know you might not care about that, but, have you even considered how many people would loose from what you're trying to do. Just because you get stepped on by two people, you apparently needs to hurt the entire community. It's sad.

Hi,
WTF is the point of this whole thing anyway ?? divx_encode, maybe you don't realise it ( well you obviously don't ) but this website is run by people other than yourself that use their own spare time to provide a service to other people free of charge - they own the domain so THEY SET THE RULES - if they think that your post is inappropriate then you gotta adjust your behaviour online - it's like a little dictatorship, live with it, they own the space you are using. It's actually quite pathetic to do what you have done or are going to do.
You're wasting you're time informing "the authorities" because:
1 - Nothing illegal is discussed or hosted on this forum and related website.
2 - Do you really think the organisations u will contact aren't aware aware of this website ( in fact, i know one australian authority that is ) ??
multiple proxy chains
really, lol

Yawn. See this is even more disrespect - this thread doesn't even belong in this forum .
As for producing illegal software.. stfu. This site's purpose is to help people make legal BACKUPS of their DVD's. BACKUPS. Need me to spell that one more time for you? B-A-C-K-U-P-S.
divx_encode I don't really understand why you are offended, and now after all your posts, I don't think anyone cares.
*If* you use your eye's you'll see no illegal software hosted on this site. There are no links to illegal software on this site. The moderators on this forum make sure of that. This site is not connected in any way to any illegal stuff. It is meerly the people who apply the knowledge to create backups of DVD's they don't own who are breaking the law.

I apologize for extending a non-topic thread, but -
just querying what Cofferscuffs said about backups:
On every DVD I have seen (Region 4), on the face it says "No Copying".
It doesn't say "Don't make ILLEGAL backups", it say no copying period.
Now I've seen with some software, you are legally allowed to make a
personal backup copy, but are you sure this applies to DVD?
Seems to me they make it pretty clear they don't want any copies at all.

It all depends on what country you live in. In Denmark it was illegal to make any copies of anything digital until recently. Now it is legal to make backups for personal use. So, do not take what ever they write in the intros as anything at all. The laws in your country is what means something.
