Per the author, v.3.9.162 now includes the following:

yes, 95copy is now able to make 1:1 copies of blu-ray, but only if AnyDVDHD is decrypting in background.

Also, if you already have ripped blu-ray files on your drive, then you can use 95burn to burn them to blu-ray recordables.

That's everything what is possible now.

Next will be to strip unneeded streams, so a movie will fit to SL BD mediaTo use this BluRay backup capability:Just insert a blu-ray disc to copy, enable AnyDVDHD, and start dvd95copy in 1:1 copy mode.

Press start, and it will create an image file on hd first.

After it, insert an empty blu-ray recordable, and 95copy will burn it.Sounds like a good first step toward eventual complete BluRay ripping - a nice addition to the many standard DVD capabilities of this (commercial) program...

@woah!

Hi!

I believe the point is that AnyDVDHD can't burn it to disc...

You are aware that ImgBurn can burn a BD project, setarip?

@linx05Well it seems in the next few versions the features will pick up.Yes, that's an excellent capsulization of my initial post, in which I said,New, Limited BluRay support...Sounds like a good first step toward eventual complete BluRay ripping - a nice addition to the many standard DVD capabilities of this (commercial) program...Time will tell ;>}

When i first was informed of this feature i was excited.
i even made a post here announcing it.

but when i found it was limited to burning,i deleted the post.

I hav'nt even bothered to try it. anydvd rips and i aint buying BD media for the prices i have seen.

the next function is going to be the ability to strip unwanted material from the movie to fit on a single layer BD-R.
this will be more helpful.

I wont be impressed until a one click program can actually compress,or re encode to a smaller size. even if its a movie only backup.

I am a little surprised at how long its taking to see a one click for BD.
once decrypted, I have been able to strip unwanted material and re encode(even down to 4.4 gb)with ease,simply using tsremux and nero vision (movie only). i am surprised that this cant be automated.
but what do i know...

@jwo62 In case you did not know already, you may want to take a peek at what jdobbs has in the pipeline. He is currently working on a BD version of DVD-Rebuilder judging by the posts on these forums. By using H.264 to bring them down to DVD5 / DVD9 sizes. Take a look at the later part of the thread 'Blu-Ray~DVD Backup & Conversion' and see how the topic morphed from putting DVD's on a BD to BD's on a DVD. Not exactly One-Click but DVD-RB is pretty darn close and a fine program as well.

Cheers,
Rick

Addendum: Apologies if I went on a tanget and off topic.
