I am having trouble using RipIt4Me with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. Brand new DVD's tell me that I have a scratched disk or bad cell. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there a
non-expensive program to buy that will let me backup my newer DVD's. I like to play my backup's and save my new DVD's, what can I do for this?
Please help, Thanks gjcrnc

Just do an ISO copy of the disk (DVD9 -> DVD9). Disks are cheap nowadays.

Hi!
Have you as yet tried using DVDFab HD Decrypter, as suggested in your other recent thread regarding a Disney release?:

Correct me if I am wrong, but that wouldn't work on xprotect or ripguard or even css would it? AFAIK an ISO copy only works on arccos.

Hi!AFAIK an ISO copy only works on arccos.I'm fairly certain that it should also work with the first iteration of "RipGuard" - and possibly the current (second) iteration of "RipGuard" - by using RipIt4Me to make a "1:1" copy in ISO mode.
As you've already stated, if I remember correctly, this method will not work with XProtect-protected DVDs...
