Is it possible to use Avidemux to make an avi file that will work on a standalone? I have tried before, but I have no idea what settings will affect standalone on the GUI.

If anyone can give me the basic do and don'ts it would be greatly appreciated :)

I think Gruntster recently fixed a problem with the MP4 muxer. You may create a thread at the Avidemux board, if you still encounter problem...

Do the latest SVN builds exhibit this problem?

Nobody makes nightly builds for Linux yet? :(

I think we need to clone Gruntster and give that clone a Linux machine :D
