Hi there,

I've tried to convert a 720x576 (PAL) DV encoded movie with DVD2SVCD's new AVI conversion option. Without success.

After CCE is done encoding the movie Pulldown is called and an file-not-found error popup is shown.
CCE Produces a *_PAL.mpv movie but Pulldown is looking for a *_NTSC.mpv file.
I believe that the Pulldown program shouldn't even be called on a PAL movie...
My settings were all standard out-of-the-box, deinterlace option set to "no deinterlacing".

Anyone else with the same problem?

I have the same problem, I don't know as solving it.
Neither it converts the wav at mp2, failure of BeSweet?

Same for me with AVI files (not only DV, but also Huffyuv and MJPEG).
This happens with 1.0.6 build 1. So I went back to 1.0.6 pre 7 and everything works fine.

I have the same problem with version 1.0.6 build 1. The prerelease 7 version didn't had this problem.

If you are using for instance TSCV for your own SVCD structure, in case you want to put serveral short movies on one disc, you only need the multiplexed mpg file. You can mulitplex the audio and video manually. You need torename, in the BBMPEG-ini file, the video filename "pulldown....NTSC..." to the filename created by CCE and start BBMPEG (not the cli version included with dvd2svcd) you can than load the ini-file. The audio-file and video-file will be multiplexed correctly.

@Fulgor: Didn't you have any sound or only the first 9 minutes?

I have noticed that the sound is lost after about 9 minutes. This might be a 2 gigabyte problem because a DV-file longer than 9 minutes will be greater than 2 gigabytes. Maybe a Besweet problem?
I'm using Win2K with NTFS filesystem.

I've tried 1.0.6 pre7 .. the encoding now works but bbMpeg hangs at 68% every time. I'm trying to convert a 61min DV file (13.7Gb) onto 2 CDs with a CBR of 2499.
Another problem, if I use the "smartdeinterlace" option CCE won't run .. wrong size error (736x56) it says, while the video is 720x576 .. weird.
