There are loads of PAL to NTSC guides for TMPGEnc but none (that I can find) for NTSC to PAL.
I'm using TMPGEnc 2.5, essentially I want to convert this hi-def NTSC (23.976 fps, 720p) source file to a PAL (25 fps). Primarily so I can achieve the best looking quality on a tv. I'd rather watch it at 720x576 resolution than 720x480.
It's easy enough creating an MPEG-2 NTSC file out of the source but I haven't tried NTSC to PAL in years. (hence I've forgotten how to do this with TMPGEnc) If I simply set the encoding framerate at 25 fps then I obviously have the jumpy video issue.
Can anyone point me to some guides or info?
