Hello all,
I have written a script to help you rename your episodes more easily. You put it in a directory containing a show's episodes (containing e.g. S01E03 or 103 in the name) and the script will query IMDB/epguides, find the episode titles and rename all the files for you. It also supports AtomicParsley if you want to have your iTunes display everything correctly (series/episode number/artwork/year/etc).

I hope you like it.

Hmmmm, pretty cool... I buy lots of TV DVD sets, so this could come in handy. Usually, if I don't feel like re-typing all the info from the DVD insert, I cut and paste the episode names from Wikipedia.

If I need to rename files, I use this thing:

I'll let you know if I find any bugs.

Thanks, you can use the launchpad page to file any bugs so I know what's going on with it, but I use it a lot and it works pretty well. I hope you find it useful.
