Hey Everyone,
I am thinking of moving to Windows 64 bit (either XP or Vista) coz of the limited memory supported by 32 bit version. I know there was work going for 64 bit Avisynth and for at present project is not active.
I was not sure, if I install current 32 bit Avisynth on 64 bit, can I run into issues? Please suggest.
Sorry if this is a repost.
thanks

Is MT supported on Vista?
On Vista avisynth.dl installed in "Windows\SysWOW64" folder and when I replace avisynth.dll in this folder with one in MT package it gives me an error saying: MSVCP71.dll not found. On Win XP this was included in Windows\System32 folder though in Vista it is not in Windows and it sub directories.
Was anyone having this problem and how did you resolved it. Currently I have copied this file into a separate directory and have included into system path.

thnxs squid. wht i did is placed in other folder and added tht to system path. And Avisynth is running great and have already performed 4 encodes on Vista 64 bit using Avisynth 2.5.7 and it's filter.
The reason for doing so is some where I had read. after posting while researching on same, users who had copied MSVCP71.dll into "Windows\SysWOW64" initially worked fine but during the Windows Update later found MSVCP71.dll deleted. So as to avoid that I tried including a directory where I am placing all avisynth related system dlls in this folder and including it in system path and is working fine for me.
sorry for updating so late about it.
thnxs again for the input and efforts u r putting into it.
