Do you like your SVCD movies to be stored in DVD cases? I do. Would you like to have a single DVD case per movie no matter how many CDs you have used for it? I surely do. This is how you can do it.

Take three or four regular DVD cases, cut them in half, glue them together... no, wait, this is way too lame.
Next option: There's a company that sell multiple disc DVD cases, not just the "regular" 2 disc ones but also for 3, 4, 5, 6 even 7 discs!

Haven't yet ordered anything from them so I don't know the quality of the products and service, but you may want to check it out

I can fit 4 disks in 1 cd case myself so that dosent interest me 1 bit. I dont make more then 3 disks for my Svcds anyways so either way no need for such a product.

You may have no use for clamshells, but I do. I've been using slim-triple jewel cases for over 6 months, and I really don't like them for movies (they're great for data backups though).

I'm desperately looking for a clam-shell alternative.

A word to the wise - avoid the alphapack multi-disk clamshells. I purchased some alpha 3-disk shells, and they're super-chubby - about the same size as a VHS case - yuck! The alphapack double is slightly wider than a regular DVD shell as well.

The Amary slim double might be okay. I think I'll buy some. Thanks for the site.

BTW: For the past 5 or so SVCD disc sets, I've done the following: using an amary single clamshell, put one disc on the hub, put disc two (and three) in paperboard sleeve(s) and tuck it (them) under the booklet clips. Not ideal, but the shell closes easily, and there doesn't appear to be any undo pressure on any of the discs. Note that I do have to turn the paperboard sleeve sideways (so the top faces the clip) to get the case to close easily. A little creative trimming might make it even better.

I dont like the "slim jewel cases either" I use the normal size ones and so far its been way cheap and works fine:). Last I checked it was 12 cents per case so cost affective and the way I store my cases that type of storage wont work.
