I am ripping now TITANIC which has such english ac3 stream that I can't normally input it into avi.
Don't think I can't mix ac3 and video, I've done this many times.
My movie with this ac3 runs with 40fps instead of 24fps, sound sounds terribly and very much out of sync.
I think, the main problem is with ac3 header, look what I've got with AZID:
[00:00:00.000] +------ BSI -----
[00:00:00.000] | Bitrate: 448 kbit (48 kHz)
[00:00:00.000] | Mode: Complete Main (CM)
[00:00:00.000] | Audio mode: 3/2 L,C,R,SL,SR+LFE
[00:00:00.000] | Center mix level: -3.0dB
[00:00:00.000] | Surround mix level: -3.0dB
[00:00:00.000] | Dialogue level: -27dB
[00:00:00.000] | Stream: Copyright protected, Original stream
[00:00:00.000] +----------------
[00:00:02.016] +------ BSI -----
[00:00:02.016] | Bitrate: 384 kbit (48 kHz)
[00:00:02.016] | Mode: Complete Main (CM)
[00:00:02.016] | Audio mode: 3/2 L,C,R,SL,SR+LFE
[00:00:02.016] | Center mix level: -3.0dB
[00:00:02.016] | Surround mix level: -3.0dB
[00:00:02.016] | Dialogue level: -27dB
[00:00:02.016] | Mixlevel: 85dB SPL
[00:00:02.016] | Roomtype: Large room, X curve monitor
[00:00:02.016] | Stream: Copyright protected, Original stream
[00:00:02.016] +----------------

NanDub thinks that this is 448 kbit stream, but it's only 384.
Maybe, this is antiripping trick...
How can I get off this first header?

ok, i checked your file.
remove the first 112896 bytes of the file, and you'll have a prefect 384kbps ac3 stream.
