Since the ATI Cablecard OCUR tuner basically does not apply the WMDRM unless there is a cablecard installed you can theorize that it actually re-encrypts the decrypted video in a
'Superficial' way. "If cablecard installed, then re-encrypt" as you know it encrypts everything even in 'in the clear analog' for no reason.
IF we could decrypt the actual firmware of the OCUR device and modify the firmware to 'never' re-encrypt the decrypted video into WMDRM we could have access to pure non-drm hd from our providers.
Any ideas on this?
