View Full Version : Is it possible to offset explorer flv thumbnails in Vista?

I'm running Vista 32 bit and have the Vista Codec Pack 4.73 installed. This gives me explorer thumbnail previews for all my video files, including .flv files - but with .flv files I automatically get a thumbnail taken from the first frame of video which, 90% percent of the time, is black. In Haali Media Splitter, I have the thumbnail offset feature set to 100, and this certainly works with all other video files, but with .flv files it doesn't seem to have an effect at all.

Is there another way - registry tweak or another app - that will enable me to offset flv thumbnails in explorer? (*Remember, I do get .flv thumbnails, but they are automatically taken from the first frame of video, despite my Haali Media Splitter settings....)

Thanks in advance...!
