I've been encoding my dvd collection w/handbrake .92.
h.264 aac+ac3

I want to be able to play ac3 5.1 in my room and also have the ability to stream to my xbox 360.

Everything streams fine to my xbox 360 but when I go to play the file w/zoom player it only shows one audio track. So when I play the file in my room I only get stereo sound. When I use media info it shows two audio tracks the second being the ac3 track. I have also tried windows media classic and it only shows one audio track too.

I basically don't want to rip my entire dvd collection and not have the capability to play 5.1.

You know you can encode aac to 5.1 right?
theres no need to have a stereo aac track and 5.1 audio track when aac can do both task's

aac 5.1 will not stream to the xbox. The xbox will only play stereo aac when streaming h.264.
