MPEG2REPAIR virus Generic.dx?

All of a sudden McAfee today scans mpeg2repair.exe as Generic.dx

Yes also tried to redownload from source:

Any other tool that can check a .ts for errors?

"Generic.dx" sounds to me like some borked heuristic failed, so most likely it's a false positive. I often get "Generic" or "Packed" hits for my very own software :rolleyes:

Does McAfee have an exclude list you can use to have it ignore known false positives?

I am still using Enterprise 7.1 version, but thanks for the suggestion, that seems to work:
