I got this error message when I tried to do a backup: "Out of memory. The parameter is incorrect." Anyone knows what's wrong?

Hi!
Although you haven't said so, it sounds like you're using DVD Shrink - and you're attempting to use it with a DVD that contains a newer copy protection scheme that DVD Shrink cannot process properly.
Try using any of the following instead of DVD Shrink: (freeware) RipIt4Me, (freeware)DVDFab HD Decrypter, (commercial) DVD95Copy, (commercial) AnyDVD...

Just wondering, how about the legality of (text only) links to such tools in the US?

@Chetwood
Hi!
If you're asking me, I'm afraid I don't understand your question? Additionally, I wouldn't presume to offer legal advice at this, or any other forum...

I was asking cause in Germany it's been made illegal (some ppl just buy their laws) to post a link to the homepage of Slysoft (AnyDVD). I was wondering if it's the same in the US already.

@chetwood - can we please stay on topic (which is not the legalities of posting links - should you wish to discuss that, post in General Discussions).

Can you move me over there or shall I delete it here and post again over there?

Probably better to start a new thread there. Thanks.
