Hi
I guess this is the right place!
Looks like I'm having the same problem as described/solved by Stealth3si.
In my case it's easy to explain. I downloaded the Rammstein - Volkerball DVD and I ended up with only DTS audio for the main concert because it was ripped and the 2nd audio stream was removed.
This is not compliant with the DVD specifications anymore but I have to live with it.
Since my standalone DVD player can't decode DTS I'm looking for a way to convert the VOBs with DTS audio to VOBs with AC3 (or PCM) while keeping the original menus.
Are there such tools that would allow me to demux the VOBs, replace the DTS stream with AC3 (or PCM) and then remux to VOBs and update the IFOs to keep the original menus and options.
Is this feasible or am I dreaming?
Stealth3si is this what you did? I'm not sure since you don't describe the video stuff.
But I'm interested in DTS to AC3 conversion. Can you clarify what you've done?
Thank you all for your help.
Of course an alternative would be to download a rip of the Rammstein - Volkerball DVD with the 2nd audio stream or both audio streams. If you know of a place on the net where I could find that!
Cheers.
