Anyone ever had it create only the .d2v file but not getting any audio stream demuxed? Happened to me a few times in past, I don't get it. The audio is there but I can't get it to extract...

use the demux all tracks option... it will get demuxed. if it doesnt, probably the vobs are corrupted.

Shall I assume corruption if the demux process ends after a few MB as well?

Do you get the same problem if you use DGmpgdec manually (not through MeGUI)?

if so there are 2 possibilities:
1 - the file is corrupted
2 - dgindex bug or unsupported source

Ok I found another DVD causing this.
And dgindex ran outside of MeGui works! When done in MeGui though, only d2v file is created.
It's ripped DVD stripped of all unwanted stuff though, using DVDShrink.
When I had MeGui work with the source, the audio streams got demuxed normally. I'm not sure...

@Octo-puss
Hi!I found another DVD causing this.What are the Titles and Region numbers of these two problematic DVDs?
2) What software and procedures did you use to initially "rip" them to your hard drive?

One was Leon, the extended edition, other was um... I think What Women Want. Might as well been Highlander director's cut. I am not entirely sure, the DVDs belong to a friend and I already gave them back.
I use DVDShrink in reauthor mode.
I believe they were region 2.

did you see the audio tracks infos in the list ?
could you upload your ifo file ?

What info do you mean? In MeGui, d2v creator? I did.
Just reripped Leon again and same scenario. It MIGHT be something related to DVDShrink, BUT dgindex alone extracts the audio no problem anyway.
Which ifo do you want?

Here is a short explanation : DVDShrink is not able to remap audio tracks IDs (assuming you kept the 2nd track from the DVD, am I right ?) during the selection. Moreover, MeGUI starts audio tracksID count at 0x80 for AC3 streams (like normal DVDs). However, in your IFO it's 0x81. That's why you have this behaviour...
FYI, DVDDecrypter is able to remap audio tracks IDs using IFO mode. Hope this helps.
All in all, I need to find a way to "fix" this.

So it's a problem of missing feature in DVDShrink and a LITTLE problem in MeGui, right? Well, thanks for looking into it :)

about MeGUI: not really a problem...more a missing feature. ;)
I need to read the DGindex code to add this.

What the fuck is illegal/warez about that? Real bought disks.
they're not yours:
I am not entirely sure, the DVDs belong to a friend and I already gave them back.
and that's ILLEGAL.
also moderate your language.
Ok I bought the disks from him just now. Happy?
no proof... no help.

I don't think I have to prove you anything. Prove me otherwise.

well... i dont think you deserve any help if you violate the forum rules. a moderator will be surely able to evaluate the situation and take a decision.

Did I? What's your proof I do not own the DVDs now? Christ, this is getting more than ridiculous. But I sure admire your telepathic abilities.

you think you're smart? you're not. your word is not enough to prove you own those DVDs, expecially when you admitted you obtained them illegally.
if you dont want to prove it, then it's fair to assume you're still in violation of the forum rule number 6.
the rules are clear:
6) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated.
so it's up to you to prove that content is not of a questionable nature, otherwise... no help.

Your word is not enough to prove me wrong. End of discussion.
Anyway, the problem was found already, plus I have neither time nor mood for flaming or stupid arguments, so when a mod comes by, lock it please.

I have neither time nor mood for flaming or stupid arguments, so when a mod comes by, lock it please. User struck for rules 4 and 6. Thread closed.
@Kurtnoise13
Please do not respond to rule 6 posts by others. Thank you.
@Sharktooth
Please do not get involved in arguments with violators. Just notify a mod and everything will be taken care of. Thank you.
