How can I remove white text?

In this video (http://rapidshare.com/files/142296199/Doushite.avi.html)(~12MB) I have a problem with that white subtitle(at the bottom of the video). I was wondering how could I remove it, maybe to use the DeLogo filter (in VDub) or maybe AviSynth. I don`t know how to accomplish this in both.

Turn off subtitles before you make the AVI.

The original .avi has those subtitles encoded into it, I did not add the subtitle to it.
