Hello everyone!

I have a problem saving MPEG2-video without recompression in Sony Vegas 8.
Video source - DVD disk.
All project and video settings are set the same as in source video, except for GOP structure. That video has the following structure: IPPPBBPPBB (I-frames: 10)

I've tried a lot of combinations of I-frame and B-frame settings in Sony's MainConcept MPEG2 encoder. The only time I got video saved w/o recompression was with settings:
I-frames: 10
B-frames: 1
But the resulting video was damaged, and its structure was: IPPPBBPPBBPPPPPPPPPP (i.e. 20 I-frames instead of 10)

I'm not good in MPEG2 basics... Maybe someone could tell how to configure encoder for that video, so that it could be saved without recompression?

Resulting damaged video example: http://openfile.ru/76514/

Hi!Video source - DVD disk.
1) Presumably, this is a commercial DVD. If so, you have to first decrypt ("rip") the DVD

2) What is the Title and Region of the DVD?

3) If you want to simply extract an uncompressed version of the video, there's no reason to use an authoring program such as "Sony Vegas". Simply use a "ripping" program such as DVD Decrypter, DVDFabHD Decrypter, RipIt4Me, etc. to rip "movie only"

1) Yes, it's decrypded and converted from VOBs to MPEG without recompression. The video is playable and etitable. I just can't save it without recompression (but it can be saved partially recompressed - only some series of frames from GOPs gets recompressed).
2) What do you mean by the Title? Cartoon title? Region was 2 before decryption :)
3) No, I need to edit this: this is an official DVD, but there are some cut-off scenes, so I wish to insert those parts from other sources I have. But I want to save it in such a way so the main portion of this video (except for those insertions) will not be recompressed.
