Hi, I haven't done any encoding for a while, in fact I had a HD failure and have had to set everything up again. My encodes with the same parameters seem to be coming out a bit bigger than before.
So I'm just asking if the x264 that megui uses has taken an alteration to CRF's values in the last few weeks. I know it did when AQ was added and then almost back to normal when AQ was 'normalised', but can't find anything suggesting anything recent.
Maybe something else is different or I've not got my setting quite right (or I'm just imagining it).
