hey guys..
this is my first post here at DOOM.

please help me.

actually i like to re-encode 700MB xvid avi movie files into 300 or 400 MB mkv format.

my systems spec are:
pentiumD 2.8
Intel D101Ggc mother Board
512 DDR1 Ram

I have installed CCP ,avisynth and MEGUI for this purpose.
i regularly update MEGUI.
The presets that i use are: x264HQ slower for video and neroAAc 64 for audio(in audio i have reduced the adaptive bitrate to 34 manually)
i use AUTO ENCODE option for selecting the file size.
which we generally determine by 30min=100MB roughly.

MY PROBLEM IS:

that every time i recode an avi the resultant mkv file is always having audio sync problems (the audio always comes earlier)
and sometimes no problem as well.
even i am having an 200ms or may be more audio earlier while playing any mkv file for that matter.
I know that VBR audio does it but i am having this in all of my recodes.

initiaally when i started recoding movies there were no problems but suddenly one day it all started.
i have even done a format of windows, and tried KLITE codec pack as well, but there is no improvement..

please help me guys i am having sleepless nights over this.

i actually download avi from the internet..
and then i recode them and post for low bavndwidth people..
as i know i hard i is to download thru low bandwidth.. i have faced that music myself for years.

I willbe ripping my own dvd collection of around 6000 odd movies.
