:confused:I am giving quite a lot of Home Theater installation demo's to my potential customers.
I have great demo material using DVD, BluRay, HD-DVD and even MKV files. HD as wel as SD.
As part of a demo I am switching discs and players all the time.
I think it must be possible to rip the material to a hard disc, edit (i.e. cut out the good sections) and convert it (without re-encoding) to e.g. on PS3 playable material that would allow me to stop playing a disc jockey.
And yes, I have played around with Megui, Eac3, Tsmuxer, Tsremuxer, Mkvvob, Avisynth and so on and I have read quite a lot of threads in this forum but please can somebody with experience point me to the right tools to save me form a time consuming trial and error experience?:confused:

AVI DeMux seems to be a powerful piece of software for extracting clips and encoding. I doubt you can put all those formats on one disk (and have them play on a PS3) without encoding them to a common format. Have you cosidered using a LapTop with HDMI output for your source player?

Thanks
I will give AVI Demux a try.
I will put all the demo sections on the hard disc of the PS3, not on a DVD-R or BD-R.
