Can MEgui output mkv segments like VDUb can do with avi segements?

just wondering if there is a command to get MEgui or I guess x264.exe to spit out segments of the mkv instead of one large file.

anyone know if this is possible?

thanks

I know what MEgui uses I was hoping there was some more commands not so public like there are for quality settings that could be passed in the command line to x264.exe from MEgui (or directly as I do not have to use MEgui. I just prefer to use a front end) I wanted segments output as it encodes like VDUB does with avi's which you can then append to each other to have 1 full file later. I wanted to avoid re-inventing the wheel if it was already coded. I will patch x264.exe. thanks
