Based on the suggestions of different people on the forum, I've decided that I'm going to backup my DVDs by simply ripping the ISOs. I was planning on using DVD Decryptor to do it. However, is there anyway to ensure that your rip is accurate? I.e., no errors occurred during the ripping process?

I ask because I know for audio CD, there's ExactAudioCopy, which does a bazillion things to ensure your rip is perfect. I haven't seen such a thing for DVDs... if anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be appreciated :)

@fibbingbear

Hi!

When you're in DVD Decrypter's "ISO Write" mode, put a checkmark next to "Verify"...

@setarip: thats the opposite of what he wants to accomplish. He wants to be able to make sure its getting a bit for bit accurate rip.

You wont be able to, since you are removing all sorts of protections just to be able to rip the disk.
