If you really expect some answers, you should provide as much information as possible.
What is wrong? What is the length of the file? If it is something like 150 seconds, then the figures shown in your screenshot are normal.

Sorry for the late reply.
Actually, the figures shown in my screen shot are not normal, this is the first time it happened.
Also, when the program converted the dvd vob file (1 of them as a test), it also was incomplete.
I think however solved it.
Create an ISO instead of ripping the dvd to a folder.
Then load up Daemon Tools and load your favorite converting program and convert.

@FrieWiled
Hi!
Perhaps someone would have been able to offer you some meaningful assistance, if you hadn't obliterated the fileame (Some problems such as yours are sometimes the result of copy protection problems)...

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Hrm well, the protection i didn't think was the problem as such as all the programs that I tried removed the protection it used successfully.
The thing is the vob files on the hdd played fine.
I didn't want to include the file name, tv series name etc just incase it was not within the rules.

I didn't want to include the file name, tv series name etc just incase it was not within the rules. Why would it possibly have been not within the rules?

I dunno, I guess I was being cautious.

As jeffy said you've still not provided enough info to help you!
What is the runtime of your source file?
Is there somehting wrong with the source? maybe it needs to be repaired before it can be encoded correctly!
