I just bought equilibrium on hd-dvd (only released in japan) and I want to back it up to a bdr. This is the first time I've run into an h264 hd-dvd, all the others have been vc1. I'm having trouble getting the video to be smooth.

After I put it on my hard drive, I demux it with hd dvd evo demux. It makes a h264 file and a ddp file. I converted the audio with eac3to gui with no problem. When I go into h264info and try to convert it (did it with hd -> br option on and off & write pps on and off) I get a hickup through the whole movie. I then put the files into tsmuxer and select the bluray disc option. Everything matches up as far as video and audio but I need to get rid of the hickup.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it?
Thanks

Hi!

May I ask, when you first ripped the HD-DVD to your hard drive (BEFORE demuxing), did the rip play properly?

Hello,

No, it only plays when I demux it or playing it off the disc. The evo file won't play.
