Hi all, I've ripped Superbad (Source: Bluray, I believe Region 1 or whatever North America is) and I've already finished transcoding using x264. I only need to convert the audio to AAC (I'd like to put this in an MP4 container for streaming purposes across my household) but when I open up the 1st audio track, a 640 kbps AC3 track, I have issues with the length.

The movie is approximately ~2 hours long, but when I open the audio file as so: NicAC3Source("bits0001.mpa") then I get a file that's 6 hours, 40 minutes, 48 seconds long. What's up with that?

Can anyone point me in the direction of why this is happening?

Because you're using an AC3 audio reader with an MPA audio file? Or something? Bad rename?

Demux the AC3 track with eac3to, and then try NicAC3Source.

Thank you, I'll try that. The odd thing is I never had this issue when I ripped 300. I don't think I had to do this last time, since I used the 640 kbps AC3 file straight off the Bluray..
