Hello,
I want to reencode a certain file. I tried opening it withthe latest versions of: MegUI, ASXGui and DGMPGDec but I always get error messages.
This file is a .ts file with AAC audio and H264 Video. It has a bitrate of > 10 Mbit/s so I'm even unable to play it using a videoplayer.
If possible I would like to remux it to .mp4 or something else, but how?

You cannot open AVC in DGMPGDec. Try DGAVCDec. If it still fails, tell me the error message.
What is the file and how did you make it?

Have you tried DGAVCDec? DGMPGDec is only to be used for mpeg-2 video.
Neuron2 beat me to it. :)

First of all thanks for your answers. I actually tried opening it using DGMPGDec. When I open the file with DGAVCDec I get no error message, but there is no video preview, when seeking or trying to playback the program crashes. But I can save a dga project, but there are no values in the "Information" window which pops up. Only "finished" appears after a couple of minutes.
But even if it would work... megui cannot open .dga files. Yeah that's the point where you might notice that video encoding isn't exactly something I'm a pro at ;)
